The Obligatory Progress Pictures

Ah yes, the ever popular progress pictures.*  You want em, here they are.  This is me about 10 lbs in.  I know, depressing.  I have labeled a couple of choice items to bring them to your attention, but the labels are tough to see.  The first things that come to MY attention are my gorgeous double chin, my fashionable muffin top, and those awe-inspiring thunder thighs.*Why post pics of myself in this shirt that makes me look like a line backer?  See my story!

 20 lbs gone

 30 lbs gone

 40 lbs gone

(notes on difference between 10 lbs gone and 20 lbs gone) I see a couple of differences.  If you look at the frontal pics, you can’t see the outline of my belly button as easily, and there is more of a gap between my left arm and my waist.  I also think my neck looks smaller.  In the side pics, it looks like my good friend Mr Muffin Top is a little less pronounced.  I am wearing different jeans and I think the ones I am wearing are a little tighter so that would have produced a bigger muffin top.  If I had worn the same jeans it would have been even smaller.

(Notes on differences between 20 lbs gone and 30 lbs gone) I see some more changes.  My butt is smaller, my tummy doesn’t stick out quite as far past my boobs, and my arms look a tiny bit smaller.  Sadly, my belly is going to be the last to go.  Stupid belly.  Check out the differences in my double chin between the first pic and the last one.  That does make me happy.

(Notes on differences between 30 and 40 lbs gone) That jersey hangs on me now, and when I bought it, I was stuffed into it like a sausage.  It was actually kind of uncomfortable.  Now you can see that is hangs on me and you can’t see where my belly button is anymore ;).  Thank goodness for small mercies!  I also took some pictures of me in a snug tank top and spandex shorts…well the tank top was snug when I bought it in October.  It didn’t matter because I bought it to wear under t shirts that weren’t quite long enough.  Now it’s a not as snug anymore and I could do with a size smaller.
